The Finance Reporting Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Group Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial reporting and analysis. The objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Role involves facilitating Automation of the Local Regulatory Reports in Strategic Reporting Platform as part of Finance Automation strategy for identified APAC countries.
Execute the implementation of reports as per the Book of work schedule.
Engage with various stakeholders in execution of delivery as per the prescribed / stipulated timelines for Go live.
Maintain overall control/governance of Automation Program implementation
Leading, tracking and driving the progress of the requirements work stream of the program.
Organizing and leading regular discussions with the relevant business, finance, technology and operational groups as required by the work stream of the program
Be a change agent, ensure compliance to Change management framework with respect to GO Live requirements and meet the audit governance standards.
Perform the Business unit head function of LRR Centralized team in Manila and responsible for managing the business unit functions as applicable and appropriate for the service center.
KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, Chartered Accountant or CPA / MBA - Finance preferred
10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry .
Understanding of the Local Regulatory Reporting highly preferred,
Hands on Project Management experience to deliver project implementation
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
Project management experience within Finance function would be desirable
Microsoft Powerpoint / Excel

Ability to present and influence across organization level and functions
Ability to translate strategy into execution
Change agent for the finance function, embracing and championing new innovative tools & processes
