MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support Desk Function- Resolve technical support issues while documenting problems accurately and troubleshoot issues that may arise while adhering to departmental and corporate policies and procedure.
Data Transmissions & Output Distribution- Responsible for transmitting data files to clients by connecting to client's system and uploading data files, as well as the removal, routing, and distribution of all completed job output in a timely and accurate manner.
Cycle Processing- Prepare for cycle and monitor cycle process on a daily basis according to departmental policies and procedures.
Service Requests- Complete service requests, which may include updating existing delivery instructions in Autorun, adding new transmissions to Autorun, and sending rerun or test transmissions, as requested.
Project Assistance- Participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects ensuring established timelines are met.
Research Assistance- Assist in resolving routine program quality issues by identifying issue(s) and researching in a timely manner.
Team Interfaces/Customer Service- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, MIS or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience
Minimum two years help desk or technical support experience for large technology based organizations required.
Minimum two year experience with Window operating systems and hardware required.
Minimum two year experience with Web browser installation and configurations required.
Minimum one year experience with TCP/IP (subnets, firewalls, private IPs, and routing.
