The Experience
In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Service & Logistics team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and in this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of the Colgate Palmolive's Customer Service & Logistics Team? This position performs a supply planning role for the category assigned. The Supply Planning Specialist will be responsible for establishing uninterrupted supply and optimal inventory of finished goods to ensure that customer and business requirements are met.
Main Responsibilities
Managing stock availability to meet customer requirements while maintaining optimum inventory levels across all distribution centers
Coordinating with source countries on finished goods replenishment
Ensuring timely delivery of new products and re-launches based on product grid
Working closely with cross functional teams to ensure all sourcing projects are intact and delivered on time
Planning product shipment with strict adherence to regulatory and custom requirements
Leading process improvement and cost optimization initiatives with source countries, Division and local team
What you'll need...
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering course
At least 5 years experience in Demand and/or Supply Chain Management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of numeracy and attention to detail
Able to plan, prioritize and flexible to changes
Collaborative, customer oriented and proactive
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience in SAP APO (or other similar systems) is a plus
Intermediate to advanced Google sheet skills is preferred
Similar experience in the FMCG setting is preferred
