This role will be responsible for working closely with and assists the Demand Planning and Logistics Lead in managing the supply planning part. Understands and addresses any supply constraints and is also involved with overall product supply capacity planning. In addition is the key contact for Sales and Marketing and participates in the S&OP process and is responsible for managing the supply forecast which contributes to the delivery of inventory and service targets for the assigned portfolio(s).
The key responsibilities of the incumbent would be:
Defines, regularly reviews, & optimizes inventory parameters and levels (e.g., reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization, minimum inventory level)
Plans replenishment and PO issuance across the Distribution Centre network (DRP) based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters, manages planning of repacking, kitting and rework activities
Plan and issuance of purchase order to 3PCM and arrange daily transfer from plant to warehouse
Provides rolling supply forecasts to suppliers
Manage the spare part replenishment which include the supply consolidation to shipment fulfillment.
Manage and coordinate with overseas vendors on shipment arrangement to ensure timely arrival to meet requirement.
Conducts Root Cause Analysis on out of stock situations and defines clear actions to mitigate and avoid recurrence
Drives the flexible part of short term supply to resolve alerts of real-time issues
Liaise with Marketing, Demand Planner and third party manufacturers to validate supply plans
Prepares weekly and monthly KPI reports and adhoc reports/activities as may be required
Maintains and updates Material set-up/parameters in SAP
