About the role
The SCM Specialist is in-charge of assisting the Logistics team on management of smooth flow on inbound and outbound shipments of Nexperia Philippines Inc.
What you will do
A. DOCUMENTATION
Files yearly renewal of Certificate of Registration both for Import & Export to Bureau of Customs
Handles Letter of Authority (LOA) to PEZA for local subcon activity, local sale of obsolete & defective machines & other exportations.
Posting of Surety Bond for all LOA applied when applicable as per Bureau of Customs (BOC) requirement.
Prepares Certification to various Ecozone Logistics Service Enterprise (ELSE) managing good inventory of suppliers and finally allowing transfer of goods to Nexperia
Continue complying with PEZA/BOC automation projects in Import/Export & Local Transactions.
Support any other activities related to Importation and Exportation activities of the department.
B. DATABASE MAINTENANCE
Encoding to IMPEX Database both for Import and Export shipments.
Scanning of Import / Export and local documents for archiving purpose.
Arrange booking to Forwarder for STR shipments.
Preparation of Export Documents such as AEDS, Non-DG Certificate etc.
Preparation of ELSE Certificate, processing to PEZA.
Preparation and updating of LOA liquidation ledger.
Preparation of PEZA Form 8105/8106/8112.
Preparation and processing of LOA application (Re-export, local transfer and Scrap)
Requisition of Surety Bonds Policy to Service Provider Preparation of Overtime form to Customs/PEZA.
Retrieval of Import Permit through IMPEX Database, VASP.
Extract data for Import monthly summary use for PEZA monthly report and submit to SCM Specialist.
Uploading of LOE/LOI to designated VASP.
Consolidate report for monthly billing, freight cost for review of Specialist and submission to Finance.
Follow up SOA to various Service Providers and Warehouse Suppliers.
Support other reports and data management of the department
C. LIAISON
Serve as liaison to PEZA / BOC offices.
Serve as liaison to Phil Government bodies such as PNP,PDEA,DOLE,STMO as per needed.
D. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Prepares consolidated Inbound summary report.
Collaborates with Warehouse team in settling issues on Pending GRs, documentary requirements regarding transfers of raw materials, molding compound for temporary storage to GMV supported by Purchasing too.
Attend day to day inquiries of operations for the Inbound and Outbound shipments and local transfer.
E. ENVIRONMENTAL & SAFETY
Ensures that safety, health, environmental and local regulations affecting areas of responsibility are complied with (Warehouse)
Involvement in 5S activities as support
What you will need
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
At least 5 years Background in PEZA/BOC rulings, documentary requirements facilitating release/delivery of importations and exportations shipment departure and arrival. Focus on the local transactions such sub-con and local FG shipments.
At least 2 years experienced in Semiconductors (preferred)
Can apply all applicable rules & regulations of PEZA/BOC ensuring smooth flow of goods in the Supply Chain.
Strong knowledge in Impex Operational Process.
Excellent communication skills
Expert in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.).
Knowledge in SAP is a plus factor
Data trend analysis.
Interpersonal skills
Negotiation skills
Effective organization building skills.
