Purpose of the position: Balancing Demand, Supply, Inventory and Cost
Organize, coordinate and manage available resources, with the objective of ensuring availability of the right product, at the right time, and at the least possible cost.
Deliver best Customer Service and Maximize performance in key SC processes to leverage Forecast/Planning performance
Support Successful New Product Launches and Win/Support Tenders, while actively managing Country Inventory Optimization
Participate in Customer Focus Programs and Trade Management initiatives
Leverage Supply Chain Best practices across the region to manage business success and financial performance
Duties and Responsibilities:
DEMAND PLANNING
Manage the forecasting process of CURRENT and NEW products IN ORDER TO ensure the availability of reliable numbers used for planning and ordering.
SUPPLY PLANNING
Manage the ordering process of Finished Goods, Raw and Packaging Materials IN ORDER TO ensure that products be delivered on-time and that parameters used for planning are updated.
PRODUCTION AND CAPACITY PLANNING
Review and analyze 3rd party Toll Manufacturers production capacity to optimize use of resources and ensure uninterrupted supply of goods.
MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT
Manage the performance of all manufacturing sites (3rd party Toll Manufacturers and affiliates) IN ORDER TO ensure deliveries in full, on-time and low cost operations.
IMPORT OPERATIONS
Monitor status of orders and closely coordinate with foreign Suppliers, Broker and Regulatory to ensure timely release of goods from customs.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Establish and manage inventory in order to ensure levels are within targets and policy. Includes risk assessment, management and mitigation
SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING
Promote and improve S&OP process, Be the primary point of contact for the assigned BU, in improving Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, SC Operational Costs, and level of Destruction.
RISK ASSESSMENT
Responsible in assessing all risk involved in the scope mentioned in the Position Mission Statement IN ORDER TO safeguard the company from possible exposure.
PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT
Responsible for monitoring the routing of packaging ARTWORKS for approval. Coordinates DEVELOPMENT of new and revised packaging materials to accredited suppliers.
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible in complying and meeting all HSE roles and responsibilities in accordance to the existing HSE Policy.
Qualifications: University /College Graduate
Educational background: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related Fields in Distribution
Years of experience and in what field: 10 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Business Planning/Controlling Fields, 5 years of which in management position. Knowledge of functional and financial processes that make up the supply chain and the interrelationship between these processes. Ability to manage and execute strategies across the supply chain to reduce costs and drive customer satisfaction
Special skills and credentials required to do the job:
Highly analytical, able to perform under pressure, with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent use of Microsoft office, insight into good business processes, ability to complete detailed systems case design and cost benefit analysis
Demonstrated ability to influence peers and superiors to overcome barriers and achieve results
Strong problem solving and organizational skills with abilities to interact professionally with personnel at all levels.
Ability to collect, analyzes, and interprets data to make sound recommendations to management
With strong sense of urgency and Proactive mindset
With background in SAP
