Job Description
The Supplier Manager is part of the Global Customer Outsourced Services team and the role reports directly to the Director of Customer Outsourced Services.
It delivers Supplier Management related activities, relationships, contracts, governance processes, communications and reporting across multiple countries and time zones.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular performance and governance reviews with appointed Suppliers.
Making sure that suppliers meet contractual obligations and deliver the required level of service.
Hold Suppliers accountable for adhering to Service Level Agreements / Key Performance Indicators / Critical Performance Measures etc.
Supervise and report on a range of areas including spend, Supplier performance, resource utilization and Service Unit consumption etc.
Work alongside team members to ensure that third party invoices are reconciled on a timely basis and ensure the creation of purchase orders for the accurate services and amounts.
Carry out forecasting activities and ensure that Suppliers have the accurate level of resources available to support LSEG requirements.
Plan and monitor spend with Suppliers on a regular basis ensuring no budget issues and alignment with Finance team.
Provide mentor and training to other members.
Represent wider CIS interests, reviewing and defining new outsourced requirements with internal partners and Suppliers.
Identify and implement continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Review contractual documents including Change Requests.
Provide support with Logistics related activities.
Deliver projects and carry out ad hoc activities as requested.
It interfaces closely with LSEG's Group Procurement
Skills:
Excellent spoken and written English.
Experienced in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Vendor Management.
Independent with excellent time management, can answer critical issues and able to work through crisis situations.
Strong reporting, analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to summarize data.
Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills.
Strong communication, influencing, and teamwork skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Ability to mentor and train colleagues.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiencies:
Strong business ethics, values, and behaviors.
Dedication to service quality and continuous process improvements.
Can communicate and negotiate with various internal and external partners.
Ability to engage with partners across multiple geographies and work within virtual teams.
Qualifications:
Able to use written and spoken English as the working language
Good expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of working in a global environment
Financial sector experience - desired
Able to speak Japanese - desired
Procurement or Supplier Management qualifications - desired
Expertise with tools such as Ariba, DocuSign, Service Now and Service Cloud - desired
