Job Description
Monitoring of inventory of fresh food stocks to ensure best quality and freshness of fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, etc. Regulate stock levels to avoid overstocking, expiry dated foodstuff, ordering of dead stocks .
Organize the daily schedule for business such as opening and closing hours, weekly staff rosters, lunch roster
Set out responsibilities for different shop staff to ensure co-ordination between various sections
Ensure proper records and data entry of stock movement, cash sales and other important data required by admin.
Monitor the performance of shop staff to increase effectiveness of service and productivity
Resolve disputes between staff and customers in the shop.
Train shop staff to focus on customer service and stock management in their section.
Maintenance and cleaning of chillers, freezers, air-cons, food-bar fryers, ovens, etc..
Ordering and replenishment of stocks, consumables, and other operational requirements.
Devise marketing and promotional activities, sales, displays to attract customers and boost sales.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management; Economics; Sales & Marketing or similar fields.
Minimum of 2 years experience in supermarket management and sales.
