The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for development, management and execution of strategic sourcing activities for indirect goods and services to include but not limited to: spend management, supplier compliance, supplier contracts, supplier RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier prospect analysis, qualification and selection, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), risk management, and network optimization. The position is responsible for executing sourcing activities for assigned categories with the goal of establishing required documentation and programs to improve Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), total cost, quality, and delivery. He / She will work closely with suppliers to establish contracts and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures; perform day-to-day processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders; and provide appropriate support for Indirect Sourcing Lead, as required, and contribute to overall category performance targets and company goals.
