This position is responsible for the conceptualization, technical and financial feasibility works, oversight and delivery of the Energy Storage System projects. Responsible for reviewing plans, contracts and pertinent documents of energy storage solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
Provides expert knowledge on Energy Storage Systems (existing and emerging technology) and establishes recommendation for further review.
Provides expertise and support to the lenders, Regulatory, and Finance to Commercial Operations Business Unit (COBU) regarding the projects.
Prepares the project conceptual reports on energy storage.
Prepares the technical and financial feasibility reports of energy storage projects. Provides technical support to the team.
Ensures all details and specifications of the project meet the needed requirements.
Provides and helps manage the project development up to the test and commissioning stage.
Monitors progress and updates all related energy storage projects.
Liaises with COBU and other concerned AP CSUs, BUs as far as the application of BESS.
Provides timely and accurate internal and external reports.
Ensures contractual obligations are met and attend technical meetings with Customers and Suppliers/Contractors.
Professional Experience: With at least four (4) years of related work experience.
Leadership Experience: With at least two (2) years work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (with preference to Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
Licensed Engineer or Professional Engineer but may be waived if there's enough experience in Energy Storage System (i.e. 2 projects completed whether role is full or partial scope, and/or supportive)
Background in Renewable Energy industry is a plus
Willing to travel in project sites.
Mid-Senior Level / Manager Architecture and Engineering Oil / Energy / Solar / Greentech 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
