Stockman is responsible for managing of incoming deliveries and receives stocks on time. Monitoring of salable and non-moving items to avoid run-outs and overstocking. Regularly clean and maintain supplies and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking and monitoring the cleanliness of the stockroom.
Receiving of stocks on time if there are deliveries.
Checking of items thoroughly and filing using First Scan-In and First Scan-Out (FIFO) method.
Securing the items has correct, readable and proper placement of barcodes.
Monitoring of salable and non-moving of items to avoid run-outs and overstocks.
Preparing of barcode, mark down, actual pricing, and Returning to Vendor (RTV) items.
Submitting monthly reports.
Preparing stocks for extension display and stock transfer.
Recommend disposal of excess, defective or obsolete stock.
Checking of clearing checklist religiously.
