Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Automate the software development lifecycle build, deployment, and release processes in order to achieve full Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) objectives.
Create and utilize automation and orchestration tools to support AWS cloud service environments.
Ability to create and configure build pipelines with Jenkins
Develop and enhance the automation of infrastructure, configuration management and product deployment for development, QC and production environments
Analyze, prototype, and evaluate solution deployment strategies for accelerating cloud software and service delivery in a complex environment while maintaining the integrity and reducing overall downtime.
Coordinate with a globally distributed team to continually evolve our CI/CD framework and processes for all build and deployment activities.
Will assist in setting up and support CI/CD pipelines for deploying infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and GitHub
Demonstrate technical leadership by researching, informing, and demonstrating trends in DevOps technologies, tools, trends, and innovations.
Collaborate with Engineering as well as application and infrastructure teams to provide ongoing cloud support and to ensure best practices are followed across the team

BS in Computer Science, IT, Business or equivalent
The DevOps Engineer must have 5+ years of experience in software development and operations, including direct experience implementing full CI/CD solutions in Public and Private Cloud environments.
The candidate must have a solid understanding of Operations, CI/CD, security, and infrastructure on AWS.
Solid experience in creating, managing build pipelines and deploying complex software applications on AWS public cloud platforms
Experience with Jenkins pipelines, Bash or PowerShell is a must
Experience in managing development Source control systems such as TFS or GIT
Experience in supporting .Net applications is a must.
Experience with programming using .NET , InstallShield (InstallScript) scripting, C/C++, Python, PHP, Ruby or Java is a plus
Experience working with RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server is desired
Knowledge of automated configuration management tools and practices such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef is desired
Solid understanding of Windows and Linux OS is a big plus
