Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for OLTP and OLAP environments
Collaborate with Planning team on OLTP, reporting requirements, data warehouse design & implementation
Maintains existing databases, evaluating, and implementing improvements, and new releases
Collaborate with development team on design and implementation strategies
Recommends and implements solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications
On-call responsibilities required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
Has at least 5+ years of experience managing, designing, maintaining databases, performance tuning
Has basic knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle
Working knowledge of Data Modeling, ETL and BI tools
Has basic SQL scripting knowledge
Has expertise on Linux (basic knowledge)
Strong communication skills and comfortability to work with cross-functional and multinational teams
Has at least 1 year experience on SSIS and Reporting Services
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a Cloud environments such as GCP or Azure or Oracle
Experience on Azure migration
Knowledge of DevOps technology and practical experience with related tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform is a plus
Exposure to one or more of these following business applications is desirable - Oracle EBS and Fusion, Oracle Service Cloud, Salesforce
Has basic knowledge on ticketing system (using ServiceNow)
