Mission (Position Objectives)
Credit analyst of Medtronic Korea will manage optimal cash positioning to improve cash flow from operating activity by maximizing liquidity through proactive liaison with customers, accurate Bad Debt & DSO forecasting, aggressive AR collections.
A Day in the Life
Essential Duties and Resposibilties
Account receivable management
Work with customers, management and internal stakeholders based on monthly AR aging report to minimize DSO, overdue balances, and un-applied payments
Administer all phases of credit activity toward minimizing bad debt loss while maximizing sales potential by applying appropriate methods of risk assessment
Recommend and manage an amount of collateral at appropriate level to avoid a customer's default on debt
Authorize credit on current orders, review and release orders based on company guidelines for customer accounts
Maintain customer contact using a soft collection approach that will retain customer's future business
Promptly analyze balance discrepancies and resolve disputes
Others
Prepare statements and data required to assist for year-end statutory audit
Review on ad-hoc requests regarding fixed asset and customer accounts
Participate in Regional & Global projects.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in a business-related field required
At least 3-4 years of related experience
Work experience in multinational companies preferred
ERP operation experience preferable
Special Requirements
Excellent Native equivalent in Korean both written and verbal
Strong Communication Skill and Collection Experience
Nice to Have
Strong in English both written and verbal
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
Excellent customer service, Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to manipulate data and present it in a meaningful and concise manner
Dynamic self starter, energetic and strong team player
