POSITION SUMMARY:
Plan, manage and schedule contract assignments for shipboard employees including Stage & Production Manager, Head Broadcast Technician, Rigging Specialist, Stage Staff, Sound techs, Light techs, Lounge techs and Digital Content Specialist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Communicate with shipboard and shore-side hotel operations to facilitate proper workforce planning, scheduling of planned and unplanned movements, logistics and succession planning in an optimum manner.
2. In partnership with Recruiting Specialist, source and monitor the development of Entertainment Technology crew members to assist with advancement and succession planning.
3. Work with Manager, Artistic and Technical Operations and Fleet Technical Specialists for Broadcast and Global Entertainment Operations on the placement of above-mentioned positions.
4. Review staffing par levels to anticipate and prevent shortages and select appropriate replacements within strict time lines.
5. Coordinates with HR, PEME and Travel departments regarding travel, sign on, sign off, medical and risk management issues.
6. Administer the Traveling Media Producer, Traveling Sound & Light Tech and Traveling Rigging Specialist Schedules with guidance from the Shoreside Entertainment Technology Team.
7. Ensure there is complete and accurate employee data in the E1 system for assigned departments and/or positions. Submit ECCR and SeaForm requests and monitor approvals for all scheduled positions.
8. Communicate with shipboard management, Head Broadcast Technician, Stage & Production Manager to identify future management candidates.
9. Attend Entertainment Activities conferences and auditions, recruiting events and conducts ship visits, as needed.
10. Make business decisions on crew movement and effectively communicate decisions to Entertainment Studios, Ships and Shoreside Technical teams with the reality of crew member availability and ship itineraries.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage scheduling operation within the annual operating budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Related Field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Three or more years of experience in one or more of the following functions: work force planning, scheduling and logistics services preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to solve practical problems, strategic thinking, strong solution selling skills and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Diplomacy and relationship building skills preferred.
Attention to detail, time management, and teamwork are the main components of this role.
Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
Candidate must possess strong leadership skills, time management skills, and written and oral communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all senior levels of operational personnel
Physical Demands:

The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 10-15 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirement include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations. Travel requirement: 5-10%
May be expected to work on evenings and weekend hours as necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position
