The Sourcing and Product Development is responsible for supporting and facilitating the goals of the Product Development and Sourcing team throughout the development stage with a focus on data management, sample tracking, and product development schedule
Fluent: English ( written and oral) and preferable Chinese Speaking it will be an added advantage.
Location: Remote Work from Home, Freelancer/ Independent Contractor Full-Time Role
Shift Timings: Monday through Friday, 4:00 am PST to 12:30 pm PST / 7.00 PM Manila to 3.30 AM Manila and determined on an ongoing basis with Management
Training Timings: 8 am to 4:30 pm pacific/ 11:00 PM Manila to 7.30 am Manila
Mandatory Pre- Requisites
Must have their own laptop/desktop which meets minimum qualifications:
Processor - Core i5 or higher
RAM - 8GB or higher
Bandwidth Requirements Minimum- Download Speed: at least 6 Mbps; Upload Speed: at least 5 Mbps.

We are looking for a highly efficient Sourcing and Product Development for one of our clients who is a leader in manufacturing pleasure products to work remotely with our corporate offices in California.
The perfect candidate will be well organized with excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic self-starter, success-driven and goal-orientated person. The Product Development and Sourcing Assistant is responsible for supporting and facilitating the goals of the Product Development and Sourcing team throughout the development stage with a focus on data management, sample tracking, and product development schedule. This position will maintain department tools and reports and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure department and business objectives are met in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist Brand Director with various projects and duties as needed to support the overall business
Assist the Product Development and Sourcing team in requesting information from foreign and domestic vendors related to products
Help maintain reports with Product Development and Sourcing data
Assisting in maintaining price quotes, product specifications, copy and photo direction
Agile in running reports; creating and manipulating spreadsheets in Excel, documents in Word, and communicating daily
Properly sort approved samples and data: Merchandising, Product Coordinator, and Photography
Review and track purchase orders
Managing the archive process of all items, including requesting final samples from vendors, creating archive files, ensuring updates or corrections are passed to the vendors once reviewed Keep track of shipping expenses
Virtually attend cross-functional and milestone meetings as needed
Enter and manage sales orders and purchase orders for both vendors and customers
Assist warranty department
Maintain vendor/customer information within the internal database
Follow internal protocols for client and internal communication and documentation
Assist in the launch and ongoing execution of special projects in the development pipeline
Review marketing materials
Basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering the phone, etc.
Ensure the quality assurance policy is being executed and maintained
Support key meeting deliverables, including presentations and sales meetings
Support the development of end-user communications including website and digital content updates for the assigned brand's online presence, digital marketing campaigns, advertising, and brochures
Coordinate and lead all aspects of assigned projects, provide and present status to brand management.
DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong Excel skills and understanding of Google Suites preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams and at times independently to problem solve
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work proactively, multitask, and strong time management in a fast-paced environment
Good analytical skills
Good judgment and decision-making ability
Deadline-driven, self-starter, willing to learn
Familiarity with working with foreign vendors is a plus
