The Solar Performance Diagnostic Technician provides desktop troubleshooting support to our field service professionals. They will use their expertise to detect problems with systems using provider portals to prevent unnecessary truck rolls, audit new work orders for accuracy, and perform in depth investigative work on accounts to proactively find systems with issues and recommend field fixes for them. They utilize extensive understanding of company tools/systems to provide assistance to the field team. The Solar Performance Diagnostic Technician will be instrumental in maximizing the efficiency of our field service professionals, ensuring a great customer experience.
Core Responsibilities:
Maximize Field Service Work Order on site efficiency by ensuring the correct equipment, skillset, and # of technicians
Remotely diagnose PV system issues including non-operation and underperformance
Assist in live Diagnostic Consultation with other departments via phone
Improve the customer experience by helping to eliminate future unnecessary service visits, contacting them proactively and aiding them in troubleshooting techniques the customer can perform themselves
Provide feedback on trends you are seeing to our Diagnostics Leadership
Meet performance goals and metrics minimums set forth by management
Understanding corporate policies, the process documentation, manufacturer's specifications and requirements
Requirements
Must be an Electrical Engineering graduate
Must have at least 6 months Customer Service Experience (Inbound)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS office & Google Apps
Solar installation/design experience is a PLUS
