1. To conduct test planning and execution on our company's software product suite.

Duties Responsibilities & Accountabilities
To validate and verify our software release product suite through :
- Creation of manual test documentation,
- Test execution of designated software releases, product enhancements & modifications,
- Test execution of upgrade & update installation procedures,
- Creation of automated testscripts, using associated software, as necessary,
- Compliance with existing Quality & Testing methodology & standards,
- Contributions to continuous process improvements & development of the SDLC within the company.
- Other duties as directed by Quality Manager, Test Manager and/or Test Coordinator.
Key Relationships / Interactions
- Quality Manager: discuss and receive direction on strategic Quality & Testing processes and procedures.
- Test Manager: discuss and receive direction on operational Testing processes and procedures.
- Test Analysts: provide assistance, and share knowledge regarding Testing and Quality Assurance issues.
- Developers: provide guidance on testing requirements, and proactively working to resolve defects.
- Business Analysts : to provide testing feedback on specifications, and ensure that it meets both internal (FTR) and external (client) expectations.
- Technical Writers: to ensure production of quality release documentation.
- National Tech Support : to ensure efficient delivery of software releases to clients.
Requirement :
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal;
- Planning & Time management;
- Work with minimal supervision;
- Flexibility & willingness to learn varied software products & procedures;
- Ability to successfully utilise test software products;
- Demonstrated team-work & strong relationship-building skills
Experience
- Demonstrated & practical experience in the use of structured testing methodologies (at least 2 years).
- Strong and proven experience in the use of regression software and its associated principles is desired, but not essential.
Knowledge
- Proven experience in Payroll and HR software testing is desired, but not essential.
- Industry experience in HR or Payroll practices is desired, but not essential.
- Demonstrated & practical experience in the use of structured testing methodologies (at least 2 years).
- Strong and proven experience in the use of regression software and its associated principles is desired, but not essential.
