JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Function: The software and services billing clerk position is accountable for creating invoices and credit memos, issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and updating customer files.
Principal Accountabilities:
Maintain customer annual maintenance renewal information
Contacting vendors electronically to obtain software and maintenance renewal quotes to prepare customer invoices
Issue annual and monthly software and maintenance invoices to customers
Issue semi-monthly and monthly service invoices to customers
Update customer files with issued invoices
Process credit memos
Update the customer master file with contact information.
Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites
Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
Maintenance of project budget details
Daily correspondence with internal project managers for project maintenance and customers for invoicing
2+ years of general accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
Strong attention to detail is required
Good organization skills required
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
