We are looking for a Software QA Engineer who will be responsible in developing and enhancing both manual and automated tests and will create a zero-tolerance culture for bugs and defects in the software/products that the business offers.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, Implement, and maintain application test plans
Perform manual and automation testing according to business requirements including but not limited to functional, integration, regression, performance and security tests
Ensure cross browser/cross device accuracy
Create and maintain internal QA Documentation
Collaborate with the Product Owner, Developers and Business Analyst to ensure consistent project execution.
Perform peer code reviews for automation scripts
Provide support for issue resolution and critical production bug fixes.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a manual/automation software quality engineer/tester with a focus on web based applications
Knowledgeable in software testing concepts and SDLC methodologies
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test case and test scripts
Good experience of web and/or mobile application testing
Good experience with testing and tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
Amenable to work on a Night shift schedule
Optional Skills
Experience in automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, TestComplete, SoapUI, QTP, UFT, Robot, Katalon, Cucumber or Mabl) a big plus
Experience with database queries and testing (MYSQL/MS SQL)
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. JAVA, front end development tools like HTML 5/CSS3)
Experience in Agile development process like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.
Experience in test case management tools (e.g. Xray, QMetry, TestRail etc.)
