Job Description
Your team
The team is a dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across development centres in Zurich, Bioggio, Madrid, Manila, Luxembourg, and Berlin. We follow an agile process, working closely within but also with other related teams and clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use.
The team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow.
The team is owner of functionality and part of many exciting and challenging projects related to Corporate Actions

Your mission (responsibilities)
Drive the design of new product features and functionality in collaboration with business analysts, product owners, software architects and fellow developers
Maintenance of existing functionality
Extension of Avaloq's standard product configuration
Analyse and implement customer requirements
Work in an Agile environment, helping to constantly improve our processes and introduce new technologies
Provide support to other development teams
Technical support of customer projects
Work on interdisciplinary innovation projects
Development of automated tests
Qualifications
What you need:
University degree in computer science, business informatics, computer/electronic engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with PL/SQL
Experience with Java, JavaEE and Spring Boot / microservices
Solid knowledge of software engineering with experience developing complex applications
3-5 years Software Development Experience
Open minded, team oriented and communicative
Eager to learn and take on new challenges
Strong written and spoken English language skills
You will get extra points for the following:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think abstractly is a strong plus
Experience in the financial and banking business
Basic know how in financial instruments and financial Data Providers (SIX, WM Daten, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, etc if available)
