Job Description:
Title: QA Automation
Location: BGC Taguig City, Philippines
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Test Case Design, Planning and Development
Gains an understanding of the industry's usage of the Lawson applications and incorporates this into the test requirements, design, cases and scripts.
Enhances the regression test suite to improve the code coverage.
Responsible for the development and integrity of test plans, data, environment, etc. as well as coordination with customer support team.
Participates in walkthroughs, inspections, reviews and user group meetings.
Designs test cases/scripts to cover most of the application functionality.
Test Execution and Reporting
Executes and analyzes manual or automated test scripts across the multiple applications.
Provides metrics and reports on test results and status.
Evaluates testing tools available on market to determine what can be used to meet Lawson needs.
Provides training and consulting on use of the testing tools.
Provides input to Performance team for load, stress, volume testing.
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years experience in software development, testing and support.
Strong background in Automation Testing, Selenium, Java, API Testing, Web Services, and SQL
Experience in Data Migration and ERP Systems such as SCM, HCM,
Experience in Quality Assurance, Project Management and Release Management Processes.
Proficient in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies.
Proficient creating test designs and test plans.
Proficient with the creation and execution of test case/scripts.
Proficient with understanding integration & regression testing.
