Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines
Position Summary
Works with development and support teams to ensure the delivery of a high-quality solution or products.
Warrants adherence to QA process best practices including defect management, test case execution and metrics reporting, requirements traceability.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Analyzes and reports overall test results and status
Evaluates testing tools for potential use and provides training/consulting on use of testing tools
Reviews, maintains, and creates test coding standards and processes
Coordinates change control and problem management processes
Defines and documents QA/Testing methodologies and processes
Works with development team to execute test plans; creates manual and automated test cases test cases based on design and requirements.
What You Will Need:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of ERP software testing experience
Proficient in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies
Proficient in creation and execution of test case/scripts, various types of test, defect tracking
Mastery of testing tools
Experience in Quality Assurance, Project Management and Release Management processes
Automation and Manual testing experience
Willing to use a proprietary tool

Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player
Can cope with self-phased trainings and requires minimal supervision
Proactive and able to work with tight deadlines/under pressure
Ability to communicate and participate during meetings and reviews with US counterparts and willingness to attend the meetings/reviews which might be scheduled early in the morning or late night
Problem solving skills
Automation testing experience (not limited to test execution)
Has knowledge in HR/Payroll process
Experience in Agile software development
Willing to work on a mid shift schedule
