Description & RequirementsAs a Senior Software Engineer on the Mobile Supply Chain Management Team, you will be a key technical leader responsible for developing, and delivering scalable and high-impact features that enhance core supply chain modules on handheld devices. You will own the full product lifecycle-from ideation through implementation and production support-ensuring robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions that optimize logistics workflows such as receiving, delivery, mobile barcoding, and picking.You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product testers, technical support, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and elevate product quality. You will mentor junior engineers, drive engineering best practices, and contribute actively in an agile environment.What a Day in the Life Typically Includes
Technical Leadership & Development
Lead the design and development of complex features and enhancements using our proprietary programming language and other modern technologies. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant. * Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementProactively engage in discussions with product owners, business analysts, and other technical teams. Challenge requirements thoughtfully and bring unique ideas that improve the product vision and execution. * Mentorship & Team GrowthServe as a mentor and technical resource for junior developers. Foster a collaborative and process-driven culture that encourages continuous learning, code quality, and innovation. * Quality Assurance & Process ImprovementChampion best practices in coding, design, and testing. Participate actively in code reviews, define unit and integration testing strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.What You Will Need:Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably in mobile or supply chain related domains.
Proficient in at least one Object-Oriented Programming language (Kotlin, Swift, Java, C#, Python, etc.) and experience with proprietary/custom languages is a plus.
Experience in implementing web services such as SOAP and REST APIs.
Experience working with relational databases, specifically SQL Server or Oracle.
Experience working in an agile development environment with iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Proactive, collaborative, and able to challenge requirements constructively with innovative ideas.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects.
Familiarity with end-to-end business processes and how technology impacts overall logistics and supply chain workflows.
