Responsibilities
Experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE based web applications
Identify and analyze user requirements
Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle in agile environment
Write well-designed, efficient code. Good knowledge of design patterns and providing solutions to complex design issues, identify and fix code issues.
Should be able to design, review and suggest improvements, guide junior team members and deliver in an agile environment.
Good analytical skills to identify and fix issues
Able to create new REST end points, define and implement business logic
Working knowledge of at least one database, interaction with database via spring JPA
Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date
Work on solving scalability and performance problems
Qualifications
Domain experience in Insurance industry
Hands-on experience of cloud technology, preferably AWS.
Required Skills/Experience
Technical skills: Core Java, Spring Boot, JPA, RESTful Web services, Micro services architecture, hand-on experience of CI/CD process, TDD, Unit test frameworks, Design patterns , Database, Basics of cloud technology
Education
4-year degree in Information Technology or related field.
