Index Solutions applies systematic quantitative techniques to develop indexes for asset managers and institutional investors, which they then deploy in the form of index funds, ETF/ETP, structured products, and other passive mandates. Today our indexes underlie more than 70+ ETFs and passive funds with billions assets under management (AuM) issued by the world's leading asset managers including BlackRock, State Street, Invesco, Nomura, Credit Suisse, Mirae and more. You will work alongside with our index developers to help optimize all aspects of the index creation and maintenance operations, as well as interacting directly with clients in AsiaPac, Europe and the Americas to transform their investment ideas into actual index strategies. This role includes opportunities to test and learn new technologies and alternative datasets to ensure we are always ahead of the curve! Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience Strong knowledge and past experience with some or all of the following technologies: SQL, Python, R, C++, Git, Apache, Web/App Development Ability to learn new technologies quickly Must possess integrity, humility, resilience, resourcefulness, and empathy Willing to work on a flexible mid shift schedule Desired Skills/Qualifications: Some experience working with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of FactSet applications and formulas Strong interest in investing, the stock market, and/or Technology/Start-Up/Entrepreneurship
