WHAT IS A JAVA DEVELOPER Our awesome client, a leading Engineering Company based in Australia is looking for a Java Developer to be part of their Team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Backend functionalities using of NodeJS and ES6 / TypeScript SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Comfortable working with Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON) Docker containers Container orchestration - Kubernetes CI/CD pipeline Automation testing (MochaJS, SinonJS, ChaiJS) .Agile development (Scrum/Kanban) WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Will be working from the office (Uptown) Must have finished an IT-related course and have taken up programming extensively in university Must have a portfolio of personal IT projects (programming/development) ready for presentation Will be reporting to an onshore developer Very high learning ability and very eager to learn outside of their comfort zone Must have an outgoing personality and potential to be proactive with learning
