The Project Officer/Social Worker supports the implementation of community-based social development projects under the supervision of the Project Lead or Program Manager. This role focuses on planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting tasks for assigned project components, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Support and Coordination
Assist in the development and refinement of project plans and schedules.
Coordinate day-to-day project activities to ensure milestones are achieved.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for specific project components, engaging community members and partners. 
Support the Project Lead in organizing and facilitating stakeholder meetings.
Address basic concerns and escalate complex issues to the Project Lead.
Monitoring and Reporting
Collect data and track progress for assigned project components.
Contribute to monitoring and evaluation efforts by maintaining records and generating regular reports. 
Ensure compliance with project documentation and reporting standards.
Sectoral Knowledge and Community Solutions 
Develop familiarity with local community contexts and sectoral challenges.
Facilitate community input in project activities to enhance relevance and impact.
Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Social Work, Management, Business, or its equivalent
With at least 1-2 years of experience in community development or a related field
Willing to be assigned in Cebu City, Bantayan Island, Mandaue City, Alcantara, Oslob, Carcar City, Boljoon, Balamban, or Cordova
