Job Description
We are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible
The Social Media Manager handles key accounts/clients of our client. Assuring the timely execution of relevant social media content created, lined-up, and programmed for the Official Social Media Properties of the Client. Social media content includes coordinated responses by the team to comments and other public messages from the community whether in official pages, community pages, news sites, and blogs. A critical aspect of the job is the ability to engage the Client, not only in taking directions and guidance but also in suggesting, contributing or introducing concepts, ideas, and best practices. The Social Media Manager effectively liaises between the Client and the team
Responsibilities:
Co-manage (with client teams) the social media accounts of clients
Analyze the company's digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identify strategic weaknesses and recommend improvements
Formulate high-quality written and visual content for social media campaigns. Write/edit copy, conceptualize posts, supervise production and execute social media content on the digital channels, including but not limited to FB, Instagram, Linkedin, Tiktok and Twitter.
Keep updated/ research social media trends and share any learnings relevant to the company's digital/social media marketing initiatives
Work with our creatives to design and execute social media campaigns.
Conceptualize, execute and track the performance of our social media engagements and improve our engagement rates.
Identify opportunities for the highest possible chances of engagement, i.e., trend jacking, other potentially viral posting.
Monitoring social media platforms for trending news, ideas an d audience sentiments.
Identify and coordinate with social media influencers.
Monitor social media feeds of the company as well as competitors and engage with the community
Resolve any emerging issues, identify potential, developing, or actual crisis.
Coordinate with all stakeholders at Client side e.g., Marketing, Customer Support, Public
Relations, Internal Communications, HR for Employer branding,
Requirements
Preferably a Graduate of Communication Arts, Journalism, Psychology or Business Administration
Must have a passion for social media, content & marketing plus hands on experience in content management
5+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing with at least 2 years experience managing social media accounts. Please share your portfolio, if any, in your application.
Excellent copywriting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Tagalog & English (written and spoken)
Ability to deliver (supervise/coordinate) creative content (text, image and video)
Ability to project manage and multi-task in a dynamic and result-oriented environment.
Enthusiastic about social media trends and understanding audience segments.
Outstanding multitasking abilities, ability to manage several projects concurrently.
(Preferred) Experience with the major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok/YouTube. Please share your portfolio, if any, in your application.
Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, fast-learner, works with minimal supervision
Good knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Willing to learn new skills and be trained
