As a member of the Marketing Team this position will play a crucial role developing, managing and maintaining LVH social media channels and other digital properties as needed.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing, the Social Media Specialist will help build, design, and maintain all social media channels.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate, build and execute social media strategy with Director
Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar
Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)
Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications
Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging
Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles
Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes
Collaborate with other departments/team members as needed
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Use social media marketing tools such as Hubspot/Buffer, others as needed
Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by Directors.

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:
Strong familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, SnapChat, Clubhouse)
Ability to create basic graphical content using Canva or similar software
Ability to edit videos for social media
Experience acting as a community manager
Knowledge of project management and web design best practices
Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
Multi-tasking capabilities and work effectively under deadlines
Sets high standards of performance for self assuming responsibility and accountability
Minimum 2+ years' experience in digital marketing and social media
