Job Title: Social Media Manager (w/ Admin assistance task)
Number of hours: 10hrs/week
Schedule: EST
Tasks:
Manage the social media channels of the client (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc)
Set up and/or optimize company pages within each platform to increase the company's social content visibility
Schedule daily posts on different social media platforms
Manage clients calendar
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Analyze conversion funnels, identifying and optimizing key messaging opportunities to help attract and retain customers.
Mapping out a strong long term social media strategy to create brand longevity in the market
Review site content, conversion funnels, analytics and statistics to make recommendations for new and creative growth strategies.
Generate new ideas for social media posts and execute against them from start to finish, including occasional video and photo editing
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to build meaningful connections
Enter data into specified software and proofread documents
Report on the performance of various digital marketing campaigns and track their progress using Google analytics
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Daily responding (Comments, DMs, reposting, likes)
Email, Newsletter Setup and, Marketing - Set up and send out monthly newsletters and monitor the open rates, unsubscribes, and other established KPIs
Prepare monthly progress reports to measure the success of social media campaign
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or relevant experience
Background in E-Commerce is an advantage
Experience in doing admin tasks
Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Yelp and other social media platforms for business purposes
Experience in using graphic editing software such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Working knowledge of Facebook and Google Ads
Knowledge of Facebook and Google Analytics
Well versed in social media marketing and advertising
Copywriting experience is a must
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge in engaging and interacting with a different type of people's demographics
