You get excited about helping businesses establish and make noise online and know just the right strategy to hit the ground running. You are a hands-on social media manager that can apply effective techniques to make sure campaigns convert to successful sales. You are a tech-savvy professional who is knowledgeable in using different web-based tools and marketing platforms.
Expected Work Hours and Timezone
You are expected to work 20 hours per week Mondays to Fridays with fixed weekends off. This is a flexible work schedule, you can work anytime you want as long as the tasks are being completed on time.
As a Social Media Manager, you will provide excellence by:

-Writing copy about the show notes from the podcast episodes to be posted as newsletters
-Sending out weekly emails for Social Media Updates
-Building and managing EDM marketing campaigns to generate traffic
-Editing and scheduling weekly EDM
-Managing different social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn
-Creating and writing interesting and effective contents to be posted on social media platforms to increase engagement and awareness
-Updating IG/FB/LinkedIn stories regularly
-Managing podcast channel by updating the title format, spreadsheets, transcribing/writing show notes and writing and scheduling weekly podcast emails
-Opening Mic notifications, adding new videos, reminders and collating feedback using Slack
-Updating various scorecards and schedules using Google Sheets / Docs
-Defining and implementing social media KPIs by reviewing metrics daily for optimization purposes
-Measuring the success of every social media campaign
-Monitoring user engagement and suggest content optimization
-Staying up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Requirements
Consider yourself highly qualified if you:

-5 + years of experience working as a Social Media expert or similar role
-Has a proven track record of running successful email and EDM marketing campaigns using Active Campaign
-Proficient in copywriting ideally for newsletters
-Excellent knowledge of social media management within Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
-Has a good grasp of email marketing campaigns and strategies
-Good knowledge of social media KPIs and metrics
-Exposure in podcast channel management
-Excellent multitasking skills
-Critical thinker and problem-solving skills with an in-depth knowledge of social media analytics & problem-solving
-Good time-management skills
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - speaks and writes fluently in English
