Position Description:
Position Title: Social Media Associate
Classification: Associate
Salary Grade: 20000 - 30000 Peso / month
Reports To: Marketing Manager & President
Primary Relationships: Sales & Marketing Team
Date(s): January - February 2021
Background:
Social Media Associate has many duties and responsibilities. Under the direction of the Manager, the Social Media Associate is responsible for the management of social media content, and content copy for specific projects such as websites, blogs, or other digital media.
Schedule:
Working Schedule: Flexible - (Primary Schedule 9 am to 6 pm Philippine Time) - Secondary Schedule (5 am to 2 pm Philippine Time)
Responsibilities May Include:
Social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram)
Familiarity and/or willingness to be trained on a CRM
Responds to comments, inquiries, or messages
Facebook Ads Manager
Content Creation
Social
Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance
Utilize correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation for excellent online readability
Researches industry topics using online sources, interviews, and studies
Maintains an active presence on social platforms to keep a broad-reaching network
Identifies powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic to the client website
Track user engagement and analyze how to produce content that drives traffic
Updates website content to stay on top of marketing trends and practices
Collaborates with the project team to create innovative content ideas
Analyzes content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
Edits content produced by other members of the project team
Requirements:
BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, journalism, communications, marketing, creative writing, linguistics, or related discipline, or equivalent combination with work experience.
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics is helpful but not required.
Excellent English language skill including grammar, writing, speaking, and research skills
Knowledge of keyword research using Google AdWord is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
Good time management and task management skills
Noticeable organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and meticulously
Able to demonstrate initiative
Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years in social media management or like experience as a social media associate.
