About the role ....
The SMSF Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:
As a strong team player, you will help existing SMSF staff by being detail-oriented, analytical and passionate in your tasks. In addition, you will also be provided training and exposure to General Australian Taxation (Non-SMSF) work
Processing of SMSF data manually or via data feed to trial balance stage using either SimpleFund 360 or BGL Desktop
Reconciling of investments and investment income
Reconciliation of contributions, expenses, tax and pensions
Preparation of SMSF financial statements and associated workpapers
Preparation of SMSF income tax and regulatory returns
Prepare and reconcile Business Activity Statements
About you ....
We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
1 - 2 years' experience in SMSF role
Experience with software like SimpleFund 360 and BGL desktop
Excellent English proficiency skills
