Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
2+ Years Construction Management experience or equivalent.
3+ Years proven experience on Construction/Engineering/ Project/Industry in O&G, Petrochemical, Petroleum, LNG and other related industry, but not required.
Experience with coordinating and supporting site Project Managers and Contract Engineering firms.
Experience in leading Field Construction Staff and Construction organization to plan & deliver work.
Good knowledge of the inter-disciplinary engineering fundamentals as applied to Terminals and Depots or DS business
Willing to be assigned anywhere within Philippine Islands

Purpose of the Position:
To act as a project manager on site for the client that will oversee and provide assurance on projects implemented by other contractors
Ensure that the client's project is delivered based on the approved scope
Ensure that the client's technical and HSE requirements are met during project execution
Areas of Responsibilities:
Overall assurance that implementing contractor are meeting client's requirements, within his site, during project execution
Oversee all project-related activities within his cluster
Formulate and implement tactical approach based on strategy provided by lead on how to ensure Implementing Contractors are meeting client's requirements
Overall responsible, within his site, on implementation of company policies, procedures, and initiatives
Provide expert opinion on various site issues
Maintains good and harmonious relationship with client, local officials, subordinates, and colleagues
Provide accurate and timely report to Senior Project Engineer
Analyze project related delays, discrepancies, and deviations then provide feedback and recommendation on how to prevent.
Review and ensure quality implementation of activity, schedules, and documentation under the team
Ensure that implementing contractors (IC) are following client HSE and technical requirements
Ensure projects are implemented based on client-approved scope and schedule
Ensure that company KPIs are met
Submit various project-related reports and updates to Senior Project Engineer and Construction Assurance lead
Work with IC to ensure that project is ahead of schedule
Ensure that IC provides recovery/catch-up plan if project is delayed
Record all delays along with the cause
Ensure that all materials (client & IC supplied) are on site prior to scheduled activity involving said materials
Monitor delivery of client-supplied materials
Inspect and approve all project materials before use
Update BOQ/BOM for all projects
Account all surplus materials and send inventory to Senior Project Engineer
Provide scope, conceptual layout, and cost estimates
Review drawings, design, project scope, methodology and other project-related documents
Ensure that ICs are following client approved inspection and test plan (ITP)
Witness inspection and testing that IC conducts
Lead HSE related programs implemented by client
Inspect implementing contractor's tools and equipment
Review various HSE related documents (HSE plan, ERP, etc.)
Recommend solutions on issues that may arise during project execution
Issue site observation notice (SON) and non-conformance report (NCR) to implementing contractors and follow thru on actions
Provide pros and cons study on various issues related to project execution
Collaborate with operations to align activities with desired business outcomes.
Provide various project-related data requested by Senior Project Engineer and Construction Assurance Lead
Lead pre-commissioning and support operation during project commissioning
Provide lessons learned register
Suggest process improvements that may increase efficiency or save cost
Facilitate various meetings e.g., weekly coordination meetings, pre-bid, kick-off
Organize and compile all project documents
Create project handover package
Perform other activities related to your role and ad hoc task that may require from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge: The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Computer literate familiar with various Project Management and engineering software/tools
Familiarity with project management, flowcharts, technical documentation, etc.
Preferabllly having various training and certificates but not limited to the following:
AutoCAD
SketchUp
MS Project
NAVIS Works
