Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team in our Manila office.
Job Brief/Purpose:
Responsible for all physical construction activities on site, from demolition / clearing to finish of the structure.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's; College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board;Bar;Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
With experienced in Site Supervision
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Applications, MS Project;Primavera and other similar design software.
Ability to communicate well in both verbal & written English.
Responsibilities
Monitors construction activities and performs quality control inspection to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Rigorously inspects completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications in compliance with operational safety and standards.
Witness offsite testing and inspection prior to delivery of equipment and preparation of inspection reports.
Participates on the scheduled toolbox/coordination meeting on site, contractors and clients and prepares minutes of the meeting as needed.
Ensures timely and accurate submission of documents includes but not limited to: progress/accomplishment report, inspection and installation report and other tender documents needed in the project site for submission to the client.
Coordinates sub-contractor's activities on the job.
Analyses causes and effects of work delays and propose necessary measures to eliminate such work delays.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly construction activity reports.
Represents ARUP/ the group/office/discipline during external meetings.
Fulfils other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
