Background
The Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting for Improved Development (CLAimDev) activity's purpose is to bolster the capacity of USAID/Philippines to effectively lead and practice collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA), which has the broader goal of enhancing USAID's development effectiveness. The CLAimDev activity will strengthen the evidence base of USAID/Philippines by implementing select monitoring, evaluation, research, and other analytical tasks to inform key strategic decisions.
Panagora Group, a small business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, provides long- and short-term professional labor to support strategic engagement and advocacy activities through strategic planning, implementation, and capacity building for the Philippines.
Panagora Group seeks a Data Analyst to support the Evaluation Team of the activity Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines (ABC+) on data management and analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the evaluation team in ensuring the quality and sufficiency of data collected for the evaluation
Responsible for data consolidation using appropriate software or computer-assisted program
Perform a systematic and holistic analysis of data generated, both qualitative and quantitative
Aid the evaluation team in the strategic and operational interpretation and presentation of results and evaluation findings
Provide support in overall evaluation data management
Requirements
Professional with expertise in data collection, processing, analysis, interpretation, and presentation/ communication
At least 3-5 years of experience in a relevant discipline is preferred.
A Master's degree in social sciences or related disciplines is preferred.
Functional knowledge of relevant data processing, analysis, and presentation software is a must (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, Tableau)
Willingness and ability to work together as part of a team.
Demonstrated knowledge of data management and analysis.
Excellent English communication and data presentation skills, both written and oral.
Reports to: Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist of CLAimDev and the Evaluation Advisor (Team Leader)
Level of Effort: This is a short-term position based in the Philippines.
