As a Specialist - SHES, you'll play a key role in shaping Orica's safety, health, environment, and security (SHES) culture. You'll work closely with senior leaders to drive excellence through strong leadership, proactive risk management, and hands-on coaching in systems, standards, and governance.This role supports our Mining Services and Supply Chain teams across the Philippines, offering a unique opportunity to influence operational safety at a national level. Champion Orica's Charter Values, Purpose, and Strategy in all actions.
Support the SHES Manager in delivering the national SHES plan and objectives.
Build strong relationships with line leaders and provide expert SHES guidance.
Coach and mentor leaders on SHES systems, standards, and risk management practices.
Help implement the Asia SHES Plan in alignment with Group SHES direction.
Conduct assurance activities and identify improvement opportunities for consistent rollout.
Assist with regulatory and customer SHES requirements, ensuring compliance and proactive engagement.
What you will bring
Solid experience in SHES or operations within mining, resources, or heavy industry, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills across diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record in delivering results through initiatives and projects, with effective written and verbal communication.
