Responsibility/Accountability Statement
The ServiceNow Engineer position is responsible for the overall support, development, enhancement and maintenance of the enterprise ServiceNow ticketing system.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow system including workflows.
2. Uses scripting tools and Service Now functionality, create script to automate routine tasks being done in Service Now.
3. Receives specifications and delivers a product/release that meets the needs presented. Creates Requirements Definitions, and Technical Specifications Documentation.
4. Articulates technical concepts using easily understandable language.
5. Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems.
6. Maintaining and Supporting ITSM module and components:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- CMDB Management
- Service Catalog
- Asset Management
7. Researches and Deploys new releases and/or enhancements into the ServiceNow live environment.
8. Performs System and integration testing.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. 1. Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. With 3-5 Years hands on ServiceNow administration and development
3. ServiceNow Certified System Required
4. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Required
5. 2 years of JavaScript Development required.
6. Experienced with Service Portal and expertise in Web Technologies (Web Services, XML, Java)
7. With 5 + years' experience in an Information Technology environment is required with emphasis on support.
8. ITIL Certification preferred.
9. Willing to work night shifts or on shifting schedules.
