The Identity Verifications Team investigates document compliance and account fraud detection of drivers and delivery-customers. The team ensures that users or customers provide information that is associated with the identity of a real person. We are looking for an A-list individual to join our efforts. As a Service Team Lead I, you will lead a group 15-20 identity verification specialists who verify the authenticity and compliance of physical identity documents such as a driver's license, passport, or other national-issued identity document through documentary verification. They ensure that each document submitted meets Uber's guidelines in order for them to use the app.

Team management: Handle first line administrative functions for the team, like attendance, leaves, DAs, etc.
Mentor: Empower, lead, and engage regional reviewers to help them achieve their goals.
Reviews: Conduct investigatatin on LOB / OU opportunities.
Teamwork: Join/ facilitate sync sessions with cross-functional teams to provide insights on the team's overall performance and targets.
Process expertise: Act as subject matter expert for team, and support the team on the tasks.
Partner management: Communicate end-to-end processes to the accurate channels to establish goals and trust; Handle communication lines for LOB updates to the COE and BPO teams, and other departments.
Projects: Investigate and analyse trends and root causes, to provide initiatives and ad hoc projects
Partner concerns: Drive accountability, resolution, and guidelines on process, team, and program-level critical issues.
