The Solutions Lead Architect is responsible for the oversight of regional solutions delivery for SR Programmes both internal and external (client facing).
The role ensures that all Service Readiness (SR) programmes deliver the right quality of deliverables into the Operations business such that we meet the client's expectations from go live and provide a platform for a long, and mutually beneficial relationship with responsibility for the process configuration methodology under the NGA Process Implementation Method (PIM) and for ensuring it is used consistently across all SR programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and plan the work, objectives and resource models for solution activities and deliverables
Work with Sales on Cost Budgets for activities related to the deployment of technical elements for new client deals
Provide feedback to Global Standards (PIM) team on recommended additions/improvements to the global standards as identified during the life of the project.
Participate in implementation meetings (client-facing and internal) as appropriate to ensure operations activities are completed
Work with the Resource Manager to allocate Solution Leads to new transitions
Manage team members within your team, relating to objective settings, coaching, performance assessments, career aspirations and assignment of tasks
Track and report progress (dashboards) to key stakeholders
Assess and proactively communicate risk, which may have impacts to the business.
Ensure Solution resources Deliverables and Activities are delivered within upon agreed milestones and budget and in line with NGA standards
Monitor delivery of transition within agreed scope, quality, time and budget
Communication to relevant stakeholders
Ensures successful transition to operations and maintenance teams for Enterprise projects
To support project solution resources in defining resolution options in the event that a challenge arises during transition to ensure that delivery is on time and within budget
Deliver presentations internally and externally to engage with stakeholders and as part of the transition process
Participates actively in the definition of global standards
Drives continuous improvement initiatives with solution teams in the region
Deploy changes in solution, methodology and approach within solution teams in the region
