Job Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of work assignments from the Service Delivery Manager and working within the team to find a resolution.
Providing remote support directly to clients and answering overflow inbound phone calls.
Working through Service Requests (Moves/Adds/Changes) in a prompt, detailed and timely manner
Providing support/assistance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Supporting internal stakeholder teams in both delivery and infrastructure/service changes.
Utilizing our PSA tool (ConnectWise Manage) to record all interactions with customers.
Effectively utilizing our documentation system (ITGlue) and regularly updating missing/outdated data.
Providing consistent feedback/suggestions to internal stakeholders on how we can improve our tools/processes/systems to deliver great customer service.
Installing and upgrading software, both customer applications and off-the-shelf products.
Diagnosing, and (where required) rebuilding customer devices.
Actively participate in daily huddles, understanding the priorities for the day and any escalation of issues that may be required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Service Desk/Support role (MSP experiencehighly regarded)
Good problem analysis and resolution skills
Practical experience using the Connectwise suite (Automate, Manage, Control)
Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with team members, clientrepresentatives, and vendors to achieve problem resolution.
Appropriate Tertiary qualifications and/or IT Industry Certifications
Formal training and
•Experience administering and supporting Windows environments
Skills and experience with the following technologies:
Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy, file sharing andpermissions, user creation, user offboarding.
Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and/or other messaging environments
Multifactor technologies - 365/Azure
Understanding cloud and antispam products. Using associatedmanagement consoles and admin tasks. Eg. Proofpoint, Microsoft ATP,Mimecast, Trend
Knowledge of routing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS to troubleshoot issues.
Remote desktop troubleshooting
Basic virtual machine management.
Working with different line of business applications and vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to demonstrate initiative and provide attention to detail
Good understanding of ITIL and proper scheduling and prioritization processes.
The ability to work remote from your fellow colleagues but still feel comfortable to ask questions when required.
