Job Summary:
The Service Desk Engineer Level 2 will provide unsurpassed Level 2 support, including patch management, working on back up alerts, fixing and restoring backups, rebooting, restoring, AND building servers, resolving issues with usernames and passwords, installation, reinstallation, and uninstallation work, maintaining data integrity of company systems, and ensuring accurate recording of service tickets. To be successful in this role, you need to establish a trusted working relationship with peers throughout the company and proactively manage internal/external expectations by keeping lines of communication open. We will be happy to support and highly encourage you to achieve and maintain relevant technical certifications on products and solutions outlined by the management.
This role is open to work from home setup temporarily but is expected to go back to the office when pandemic subsides. It will be following a schedule and will be on Weekdays off.
Requirements
Applicants must have:

-5+ years service desk experience
-A minimum of 1 solid year within Australian MSP environment
-Keen understanding of troubleshooting Windows servers and Windows domain environments
-Experience with Autotask, Connectwise, Datto RMM, and ITGlue
-Experience in both client and server operating systems
Successful applicants will be those who have the following skills or experience:

-Experience in patch management, fixing and restoring backups, service and backup related issues
-Experience and knowledge of operating systems (both client or server)
-Knowledge of visualization
-Networking/infrastructure skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
-Experience and knowledge of HyperV or VMWare
The following experience will be highly regarded:

-ITIL, Microsoft, Azure and/or other relevant certifications
-Some cloud experience
-MDM platforms experience
-Microsoft teams experience
