Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
• Research and analyse competitor advertising links
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
• Provide regular updates on competitive and business landscape including Google updates
• Fix technical SEO issues site-wide across a wide variety of CMS including , Magento, Wordpress, Shopify, Squarespace which mainly includes adding SEO elements like Canonical Robots file, redirect 404 errors etc.
• Run page speed audits for a website and recommend easy fixes
• Implement Structured Data for clients
• Help with website migration tasks
• Management of tracking tools and reporting on progress
• Develop and implement link building strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in on page and off page SEO
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Tag Manager
• Exposure in any of the following SEO tools: AhRefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner
• Has a background in Strategy, Implementation and Keyword Research
• Basic Knowledge in HTML, CSS and any CMS (e.g. WordPress, Shopify)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google G-suite
• Has initiative and confidence to share ideas
• Someone who is reactive and proactive
• Can work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
