The Senior Web Developer role will be working closely with multiple web design and development projects using WordPress. The role is expected to work on both front-end and back-end, plus developing themes and plug-ins primarily using WordPress.
We need someone who has more than 5 years experience using WordPress with proven portfolio to showcase their past work or contribution. As this is a senior level role, we also need someone who has background manipulating/managing Ubuntu servers using SSH.
Added experience using other platforms such as Laravel, Angular, Drupal and Ionic will also be a great advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Front-end cutup and backend implementation of WordPress and other website features and functionality.
- Working with the user experience team and user interface designer to establish the website architecture and to build a Blueprint strategy for development.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Liaise with clients regarding technical issues, functional requirement analysis and other concerns related to the website project.
- Participates in daily scrums and project brief meetings
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of BS Information Technology, Computer Science or any related course
- More than 3 years work experience occupying a Full Stack Developer or Senior Web Developer roles
- Highly skilled in WordPress custom development (not just plain WordPress content management)
- Should be able to create custom WordPress plugins
- Skilled in manipulating and managing servers such as Ubuntu using SSH
- Experience in Laravel, Drupal, Angular JS platform is a great advantage
- Can present past work portfolio. Please do not apply if you don't have any
- Can QA his/her own work and possess exceptional attention to detail
- Willing to be assigned or be relocated in Clark, Pampanga
- Willing to start immediately and work full-time
