Job Description
Senior Visual Designers are expected to lead design on projects, managing juniors and freelancers, while also contributing to hands-on design. They must liaise with production discipline and design team to ensure deadlines are met and maintain brand consistency throughout all projects for each client's specific needs.
Job Requirements:
Solid understanding of a wide range of interactive technologies, best practices, and emerging trends in digital products
Digital agency or relevant in-house design and art direction experience,- Experience with leading a team of junior designers
A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for conceptual thinking, design, and skill in visual communication
A strong background in creative problem solving, strategic brainstorming, and creative execution
A strong understanding of digital and motion design
A strong understanding of layout, typography and hierarchy
An eagerness to collaborate across disciplines with team members at all levels
Well-developed communication skills including ability to articulate and present thoughts and creative ideas
A solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and familiarity After Effects (or another animation platform in order to quickly animate designs)
A degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in the digital space is a plus
Some knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
