Out client is a leading international professional services consultancy.
The Role
Lead concept planning, assessment and design of transport infrastructure including roads, bus and rail stations/terminals, as well as master plan developments. Traffic impact analysis for new developments including circulation and accessibility schemes. Manage/plan traffic and infrastructure surveys. Review and analysis of public transport service, route planning, and performance.
The post presents an excellent opportunity for someone willing to work across a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients. In addition to local projects, the candidate may undertake international travel and work on projects throughout the South East and East Asia regions.
Requirements
Degree in Transport Planning / Engineering or Civil Engineering or Urban Planning or related discipline; post graduate studies will be an advantage
Possess relevant professional license in the Philippines
8-12 years of experience managing traffic impact assessments / temporary traffic schemes / traffic engineering design / transport planning /transport modelling/ public transport operations for municipalities, transport operators, and comprehensive developments
Experience with modelling or simulation tools/software an advantage
Experience of city transport planning including strategy, policy and multi modal integration at major city scale.
Proven working knowledge of traffic engineering and transport planning practices in the Philippines
Membership of relevant professional institutions or bodies
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments, including working confidently in English.
Effective oral/written communication skills and presentation skills including working confidently in English.
