💼 Role: Senior Technology Application SpecialistMain Accountabilities:Lead the design and development of applications using modern development frameworks including jQuery, Java, and Visual Studio to support both new business functions and the evolution of legacy tools (e.g., MS Access DBs using VB Script).Deliver advanced database solutions using Azure SQL and on-premise SQL for business-critical applications and analytics.Spearhead implementation and optimization of Microsoft Power Platform solutions-Power Apps, Power Automate (RPA), Power Pages, and Power BI-to automate processes and enhance digital experiences.Oversee and maintain integration of various business systems through middleware platforms, ensuring high data integrity and system compatibility.Serve as the primary technical authority for Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics deployments, facilitating deep analytics and enterprise reporting.Maintain and enhance the Pact BI data model, ensuring governance, performance, and strategic alignment.Support and provide BAU services across Microsoft-based and third-party applications, including SharePoint, SnapLogic, and optionally SAP (Fiori, BTP) environments.Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for supported applications.Participate in application code management practices using Azure-aligned platforms for version control and DevOps.Translate stakeholder needs into scalable, supportable technical solutions through structured analysis, consultation, and agile development.Decision MakingMake strategic recommendations on application development and technology investments aligned to Pact's future-focused IT roadmap.Apply domain expertise in scripting and Microsoft cloud platforms to resolve escalated incidents ,identify root causes, and proactively mitigate future issues.Stakeholders / Communication (Internal and External)InternalIT PMO & Application Support ManagerProject ManagersBusiness AnalystsApplication End-UsersData Governance CommitteeExternalMicrosoft Technology ConsultantsSAP Solution PartnersMiddleware Integration Vendors (e.g.,SnapLogic)Key Deliverables / Business OutcomesDeployment of robust, scalable applications and integrations that align with operational and strategic business needs.Continuous improvement of user experience and efficiency through automation and self-service tools.Seamless integration between Microsoft and third-party systems, enhancing data flow and system interoperability.Effective governance and delivery of BI reporting tools and data models.Demonstrated technical leadership and end-user satisfaction through high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and reduced incident volumes.Knowledge and ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience in scripting languages (jQuery, Java, VB Script), database management (SQL, Azure SQL), and application development using Visual Studio.Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform-Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate (RPA), Power Pages-with proven success in delivering end-to-end solutions.Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics for enterprise analytics and business insights.Working knowledge of SharePoint development, administration, and integration practices.Experience in middleware and integration tools including SnapLogic, enabling smooth cross-platform data communication.Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP BTP platforms is considered advantageous.Skilled in code management and CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments or equivalent tools.At least 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise application development and support.Accreditation / Qualification RequirementsTertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure, or Data Analytics are highly desirable.Ready to make an impact? 🚀 Apply now and let's grow together!
