JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Internal Auditor will assist its assigned immediate superior/s in conducting assurance and consulting engagements such as assessing the governance, risk management, and internal controls areas; and recommending areas for improvement. He/she shall coach and supervise the Internal Auditors as assigned. The role also requires adherence to high quality audit work and professional ethical standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferaby Mechanical Engineering
Earned at least one license related to internal auditing, accounting, information systems, or engineering
With at least three (3) years functional experience in internal auditing, accounting, business analysis or program evaluation, or technical experience in related fields (i.e., engineering), including project management;
At least one (1) year supervisory experience;
Knowledge and skill of applying internal auditing, accounting and management principles and practices;
Basic knowledge of the International Professional Practices (IPPF) developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or other related audit standards;
Extensive skills in collecting and analyzing data, evaluating and drawing logical conclusions;
Skill in planning and maintaining composure and under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines;
Strong analytical skills;
Proficient in using computer and MS Office Product;
Extensive skills in effective verbal and written communications, including listening and presenting findings and recommendations; and
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts,and to work effectively in a professional environment.
