Job Description:
TransferMate Global Payments is a globally regulated, B2B payments technology, which greatly improves the international payments process for banks, companies and both our software and strategic partners, such as Wells Fargo, AIB and ING.
The TransferMate global footprint encompasses 30+ offices worldwide with 26 different nationalities. In Bulgaria alone, we have 900+ employees in Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Sofia and Shumen and we keep growing!
What we're looking for is a self motivated individual to lead a development team.
Responsibilities
Senior Software Architect will report to Principal Software Architect and will work closely with other Technical Architects on building new products and maintaining existing applications, including APIs from the Transfermate portfolio.
You will lead a highly skilled development team to deliver reliable and competitive solutions that will helps the business to grow by expanding the customer base.
Defining the strategic and tactical aspects of our software products that are used by customers.
Data security and application performance in all future developments and software changes.
Understand company needs to define system specifications
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
Lead and develop a new team of developers
Communicate system requirements to software development teams
Evaluate and suggest integration methods
Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Requirements:
10+ years' experience with at least one of the Object Oriented Programming languages, including 5+ years as Architect or Technical Lead
Experience in leading development teams and ability to work with people and develop their skills
API maintenance and experience in data security and server structure
In-depth knowledge of working with relational and non-relational databases, data design and analysis
Software design, advanced data structure and algorithms
Advanced Git and CI/CD skills
Experience in work with Cloud Providers (AWS preferable)
Practical thinking with proven ability to apply theory in real-world settings
Knowledge of TOGAF or other commercial structural framework is an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Skills in diagram and technical documents creation
Proactive team player
